We are passionate about making disciples, mobilizing church members, and sending out missionaries.
We have ministry and fellowship opportunities for all ages of adults. From young adults through senior adults, there is something at First Baptist for you.
Our Small Groups provide a place for relationships with other people and the Lord to grow. We have Small Group Bible Studies who meet once a week to study a variety of discipleship material for personal growth and development. Contact the church office to find a Community Group near you.
Our senior adults are a busy crew! Our B.A.L.L. (Be Active Live Longer) Group meets monthly for informative and entertaining programs followed by a wonderful covered dish luncheon on the first Monday of each month. The fun begins at 11:00 a.m. Many day trips, game nights and the annual pilgrimage to Branson are just some of their activities.
Men’s and Women’s Retreats are well attended each year. These overnight trips allow time to get away and refocus. Locations and topics vary.
Music is a vital and very important part of the life of First Baptist. Our choirs and ensembles make up a huge collection of people who love to sing and praise the Lord.
Worship is the focus of our music ministry. As we worship corporately it helps us develop a heart for worship. The purpose of each musical group is to lead in worship with music that is a worthy offering to our Lord for His glory and praise. We strive to grow in spirit and skills to offer our best to Him.
Come join one or more of these groups listed below as we lead our church to worship each week and present special programs throughout the year.
